But..... while maneuvering to actually parallel park, you must bring your car up beside (parallel to) the car you are going to park behind. Then you have to (successfully) maneuver, in reverse, to be precisely behind that car and parallel to the curb. Of course, you must do all this without banging into the car in front OR behind your car by the time you are all finished. Good Luck!!
