Wobbly Lines

The Push Button Heads get themselves into a wobbly situation this weekend after an unlucky accident.

Regrettably, this weekend’s cartoon is based on a true story. I’m alive and well, but I had an unfortunate run-in with a car that abruptly turned into the bike lane while I was riding an e-scooter to work. The damage to my right forearm was severe, and I underwent surgery to repair the fracture with a set of metal implants.

The surgeon asked me how I use my hands at work, and I replied that it’s mostly typing, drawing, and track-pad scratching (a.k.a. the “computer work” of the typical creative). And she said I should be able to get back at it within a week, but that I won’t be able to do any manual labour or heavy lifting for a couple of months.

Aren’t I lucky to have the perfect excuse to avoid helping my partner out with our pending house move. ;-)
