Too Many Fingers
A weekly comic featuring the whimsical and far-too-innocent Push Button Heads characters, written and illustrated by Everett Wilson. Enjoy!
People have been talking about Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), and how it’s disrupting almost every industry including art and design. One of the most thoughtful responses I’ve seen so far is by Jason Farago, a critic at large for The New York Times. He writes:
I remain profoundly relaxed about machines passing themselves off as humans; they are terrible at it. Humans acting like machines — that is a much likelier peril, and one that culture, as the supposed guardian of (human?) virtues and values, has failed to combat these last few years. — Jason Farago, A.I. Can Make Art That Feels Human. Whose Fault Is That?
What do you think about all of this? Let me know in the comments. (And, for the record, all of my cartoons are human generated. My Push Button Heads characters might be from another planet, though, so be warned!).
