Rate Your Pain

The Push Button Heads are staying optimistic.

Now that the cast is off my forearm, sadly I’m experiencing more pain now than the last few weeks because I can move my arm and wrist in ways I hadn’t been able to do since the surgery. Everything feels raw. But I’m surviving. It hurts, but no pain, no gain I suppose.

This weekend’s comic pays tribute to the question I’ve been asked consistently throughout this whole experience: “How’s your pain on a scale from one to ten?” I wish I could answer with the irrational number π (3.141592653…etc.) sometimes, just to be difficult. I even tried to work π into this weekend’s cartoon, but couldn’t get the punch line to land quite right.
