While On Vacation…
Believe it or not, this cartoon was loosely inspired by a recent tour of a coffee plantation on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. I’m known for occasionally dropping the line, “micro-climate,” in everyday conversation (it’s my shtick; everything has a “micro-climate” doesn’t it?). My partner is convinced I made up the term, since he’s only heard me reference it. But not anymore! The tour guide mentioned “micro-climate” on three occasions within the first hour of our walk through the coffee farm. I felt so validated.
