On the Road to Recovery

It’s been another week since the surgery to repair my broken forearm, but I’m recovering well. The timing of the accident was not ideal. This week was our 30th Imaginairium Festival in Calgary where I work. After helping out behind the scenes at this annual festival for more than a decade, this was the first time I had to sit one out. It was so hard to be on the sidelines. But we have a great team and I’m told it was a very successful week of live shows and big ideas from an incredible lineup of authors.

It’s still challenging to draw at the moment. So until my arm heals up, I’ll be going through my archives and past work to uncover gems I haven’t shared in awhile (or ever). For example, the “Crocodile vs. Periscope” comic is a t-shirt design concept I created at the request of a dear friend of mine.
